Quick Pickled Onion & Chilli
Ingredients
1
French shallot or 1/2 red onion
1
chilli pepper
1/2
cup
distilled white vinegar
1.5
tbsp
maple syrup
1
pinch
salt
Instructions
Chop onion & chilli, place into jar.
Add vinegar, maple syrup & salt into the pickling jar.
Add lid and shake gently. Store in fridge.
Set aside for 30min. Ready to use as required. Flavors deepen with time.
Notes
Great over salads, on burgers, tacos, burritos etc
