When I Played the Cello

written by Hosanna

When I played the cello
Chubby children coloured cats,
Ugly underwear hung over the umbrella unconsciously,
Cunning coyote’s attacked crying candy canes,
An excited egg exploded on an evil elegant lady and
A gorgeous grumpy girl gobbled up a gecko.

When I played the cello,
A coughing burger ran,
A piano giggled as it played music,
An angry pen painted on the Mona Lisa,
The mop danced with a broom,
And a dead sunflower grew legs to find sunlight.

When I played the electric cello,
Flower petals bloomed in early spring like a morning sunrise,
The crystal glimmered in the sky like a sparkling polished window,
Marble floors shimmered like crystal waters on a sunny day,
A train wound its way around a mountain like the solar system orbits the sun
And fluffy sheep moved like white clouds across the green grass.

After I packed up my cellos,
I flung my bags out the window,
Collected my dog and
Left the basement alone, with its vague memories.
