A warning tale is a fun narrative to study and ‘Kassim and the Greedy Dragon’ and The Caravan’ are two great examples of Warning Tales that my students have really loved. As with any Talk for Writing unit, the story is first learnt, discussed and played around with in oral format. To assist in learning a tale, a story map is created. I have included both the audio and story maps for the stories we are covering.
