Quick Pickled Onion & Chilli
Ingredients
- 1 French shallot or 1/2 red onion
- 1 chilli pepper
- 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
- 1.5 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Chop onion & chilli, place into jar.
- Add vinegar, maple syrup & salt into the pickling jar.
- Add lid and shake gently. Store in fridge.
- Set aside for 30min. Ready to use as required. Flavors deepen with time.
Notes
Great over salads, on burgers, tacos, burritos etc
