Perth specific Out and About Memberships (though similar types of memberships would exist in local areas outside of Perth)
You may be familiar with most of these ‘Out & About’ activities around Perth though maybe not aware of the annual memberships they offer. These annual gifts could make great gifts for your loved ones, especially those who love adventure or have an inquiring mind. If you are homeschooling or considering homeschooling these places would be great to hang at more regularly as part of your homeschooling activities.
They are as follows:
Perth Zoo Pass A friend of mine had membership passes for her young boys and was regularly visiting the zoo with them. They loved visiting with the animals. Perth Zoo is a really lovely zoo to visit with beautiful botanic gardens and a great range of creatures to see.
Adventure World Membership Another friend of mine purchased season passes for her teenagers which became a great hangout for them. I have just noticed that a number of their memberships are sold out so it may pay to get in early for the following year (perhaps this is also a Covid related situation). There are still off-peak standard memberships available.
Scitech My girls really have loved visiting Scitech with so many hands on brain stimulating activities to try. Their memberships are good value also. Not only do you get unlimited general entry, but priority entry for peak periods as part of the membership. Exclusive invites to member-only events and competitions are also included. There are also a bunch of parent science centres that will also give you free membership. Winning, especially come the days when we can travel freely!
AQWA The Aquarium of Western Australia Visit Perth’s Aquatic park as many times as you like with an annual pass for AQWA. The pass also comes with additional discounts for the AQWA shop, cafe and their Adventure Programs.
Bounce Multi Pass Bounce is a great trampoline place where kids can move and develop great skills to harness their balance, coordination and movement. Get the kids of the screens and get them bouncing with a multi pass. This would be great for the school holidays.
Flip Out in Mandurah is also a great place to visit and possibly offer multi passes. Flip out have trampolines but also do parkour, ninja courses and olympic trampolines. These guys actually do run homeschooling sessions and after school sessions.
Perth’s Outback Splash This new Water park looks like a fun place to head to and could be a great gift especially for teenagers. They offer unlimited park entry from September 25, 2021 to April 25, 2022, discounts for food and beverages, mates rates tickets and priority entry. The park features waterslides and water attractions, mini golf, mazes, sensory play activities and Australian animals.
I hope to add to this list other great memberships, specifically aimed at kids. Let me know if you come across some other wonderful Perth based annual membership/multi pass style programs.
