Wolfie and the Rainbow Doggie

Written by Alice (Years 1 – 2 Workshop)

Once there was a rainbow doggie sleeping in her dog house.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. She woke up, “I wonder who that can be? It can’t be Racoon, the bin man, because he came last night. And it can’t be Sophia, the rabbit, because she is at the hairdresser eating carrots and getting her hair done.

Rainbow dog opened the door and there was a scary, furry, grey wolf. Wolfie said, “Excuse me, but can I come inside. Do you think I could have a warm cosy blanket?” Rainbow doggie said, “Of course, come in. ”

First, Rainbow Doggie gave him a blanket. Wolfie wrapped the blanket around him.

Next, Rainbow Doggie said, “would you like a hot chocolate?” The wolf said, “yes, please!” The Rainbow Doggie then said, “would you like some hot soup? The wolf said, “Thank you!”

After that, wolf said, “Could I have a bed, please?”

Finally, Wolfie was so happy that he wanted to marry Rainbow Doggie. Wolfie said, “Will you marry me?” Rainbow Doggie said, “yes!”

In the morning, they organised a wedding. They invited Racoon, Sophia and Chickie and her babies. They all had a good time and lived happily ever after.
