Well, the pups are now nearly six weeks old and are really thriving. They started climbing out of the whelping box in the week so I’ve moved that out of the way to open up their play area when inside. They spend a lot more time outside now, which is great for them. I have them in the play pen for some of the time and then for the rest of the time they just hang around the door playing or sleeping. We will need to make a bigger enclosed outdoor area for them as they start to explore the yard a bit more.
We’ll be getting vaccinations and microchipping next week. After this I’ll be sending off the paperwork for registrations to get underway now that we have our Breeders prefix of ‘Rosiegold’.
